Our guest for this episode is Dr. Lucianne Walkowicz, an astronomer based at the Adler Planetarium. Dr. Walkowicz has done research in stellar magnetic activity and its impact on planetary suitability for extraterrestrial life, spoken about the importance of inclusivity in space exploration and the importance of language in how we develop our space exploration initiatives, and been recognized for their advocacy in the conservation of dark skies.
