Happening in Hawaii, January 1 to 14, 2014, the lectures of the Winter School are related to water in star & planet formation, water on early earth, ice and water in space and on other planets, origin of life on earth, and extremophiles. The winter school includes several field trips and hands-on mini-workshops.
To be eligible you must be a current graduate student or early postdoc within 5 years of PhD (PhD years 2008-2018). For graduate students and postdoctoral scholars at U.S. institutions all school costs are covered. For applicants at foreign institutions we will try to help link you with funding sources. All participants are responsible for securing their own travel to Hilo, Hawaii.
