My first and most impressive comet was the Comet McNaught in 2007. We could see it's impressive tail in the evening skies for many days. Here is a photo of the comet taken from Canberra, Australia's capital city.

 

 

Then earlier this year in March there was Comet PANSTARRS...

 

Now waiting to see if Comet ISON can trump either of these ;-)

Those are amazing shots, thanks for sharing! Looks like ISON flamed out.. :(
