Hi Sanjoy -

Met with our first grade buddies today and played the NASA video of the Curiosity launch and landing.  Generated a lot of questions... all of which I want to send to you! ;-) Can you send me your address?

Thanks,

Matt

Hi guys... Info for Sanjoy and Amanda...

Kicking off 5th grade science with a look at variables (dependent and independent) by doing some experiments with pendulums. Then we'll jump into a unit called Mixtures and Solutions.  Here is a link with info on this unit and the others we cover in 5th grade:

Hi! I met the director of this cool organization that operates in the bay area: http://science2theclassroom.com/. They could be a useful resource when you discuss paleontology / Earth Sciences with your students?

There is a "teacher talk" group (http://saganet.org/group/teacher-talk) where other teachers have posted some resources on astrobiology of possible interest!
