Women in Astrobiology

Welcome!

This is a fairly informal group created as a safe place to post/discuss topics in astrobiology that may have a gender component.  Note, this group is meant to be inclusive, you don’t have to be a woman to support women in astrobiology or care about issues like work-life satisfaction.

For the moment I am mostly cross-posting professional development opportunities that come up on the Women in Planetary Science Blog (these are mostly applicable to any gender), but I would love input from others across the disciplines that make up astrobiology.  Please post relevant opportunities and issues below.

For starters, check out this post with a list of resources helpful to students and postdocs (or any early career people for that matter :). I am sure you have your favorite resources as well, so I would love to add to the list.

this is an awesome group! I was going to make one called Ovaries in Space... but this seems more appropriate (i'm kidding)
