About Me (we also use this to ensure that you are a real person - if left blank, you will not be registered)
I am a former management professional who returned to school to pursue a career in astrobiology! I'm a current undergraduate student at University of Colorado Boulder studying ecology & evolutionary biology. I currently work as a research assistant in Dr. Steve Schmidt's Apline Microbial Observatory lab, where we're currently trying to isolate bacteriophages from Antarctic cryoconite sediments. I'm hoping to find my next home in an astrobiology-focused graduate program.

Hi Dani! Welcome to SAGANet. I'm one of the moderators for the site and also the current host for Ask an Astrobiologist. I also live in the Boulder area (and once took Steve's microbial ecology course at CU before I jumped into my PhD program in the geology department).
