P03: Habitability in the Solar System and Extrasolar Planets

The aim of this session is to discuss the potential for the origin, development and detection of life on planets and satellites of the Solar System and planets around other stars. We invite contributions from all fields of planetary science including e.g., formation of planetary bodies, interior structure and dynamics, impacts, geological evidence on habitability, atmosphere, biogeochemical interactions, extremophiles, and mission concepts for exploration of planetary habitability.
