It's been many months since I last communicated with SAGANet members who had volunteered to answer questions submitted to the NASA Astrobiology Program's online service "Ask an Astrobiologist."

In light of plans to redesign astrobiology.nasa.gov, we'd discussed how to revamp and improve "AAA," and many of you came up with excellent suggestions, which I forwarded to NASA senior scientist Mary Voytek and the Astrobiology web team.

For reasons I'll describe as "bureaucratic," the web site redesign, including the redesign of "AAA," have been on hold since the turn of the year. ("AAA" has been dormant during this time.)

Now the website redesign is back in gear (tentative re-launch in May 2015), and I've been asked to contact my "AAA" volunteers about their willingness and ability to continue to participate in the new-and-improved "AAA."

I'll soon have some details from the website redesign group about their plans for Phase 1/Phase 2 redevelopment of "AAA," which incorporate much of your feedback.

I have email addresses for some but not all of the "AAA"volunteers of last year. I'll be contacting those of you for whom I have addresses. Stay tuned for more information, as it's provided to me.

Thanks for all your good work!
