So I am guessing you would miss snowy mountains or lakes? Mine is greenery

I would miss relaxing in a hot salt bath with a good book.

I'd miss plants too. From work at the ISS we now know that plants can can grow absolutely well in no gravity, despite having evolved their forms, including roots, to support themselves because of gravity.  I'd love to take an airplant with me cause it has no underground roots, so you can stick it anywhere there's light, and it solely subsists from the moisture in the air.

I might be glad to get away from my family for a few days, but since we are talking about years, I would really miss my 3 kids and husband. The good news is being away for such a long time might allow me to take up an old, forgotten hobby like music composition, or I could study a new discipline, provided there's plenty to read on the voyage.

The other thing I would miss is being able to step outside in my own skin and just breathe.

Kind of in line with Graham's thoughts, I'd miss sitting in natural hot springs and fresh salads with oregano and cheese and tomato.....that's the official response. Honestly, I'd miss my guilty pleasures the most- fast food burritos, DQ blizzards, popcorn from the cinema, BBQ with my family.

Fresh roasted coffee. Also trees, the ocean, and snow (but I miss those already living in the desert!).

I would miss my home, my family. And obviously, living on Earth, relishing the joy of beholding sights on this incredible planet and interacting with nature in everyday life is simply a beautiful experience in itself. So I would miss that… I would miss this pale blue dot
